Sex Surrounds Us!!

So this will probably be a small post, but really wanted to get it down whilst it is fresh in my mind!

I was wandering around my local book store, just browsing to blow sometime this evening.. and the health section grabbed my attention. A simple book shelf with 4 shelves within it, yet 3 of the 4 were dedicated to sex, sexual health, voodoo sex guides, and all sorts of other crazy sexually related topics.

What is this a sign of, has our world become so fixated on sex that now we want to dedicate most of our ‘Health’ section at the book store to it?! Yet in the psychology section we have books also littered with Sex… One comment on the back of a book I saw said, ‘Don’t give him sex straight away, just think of the passion he will have built up when you finally say Yes!’ Good grief… and that was a book about great love. Love has nothing to do with Sex.

Its overall not surprising though, its become common place… and if we are going to remain strong, we are going to have to be strong enough to ignore all of this rubbish that the world throws at us, all of these misconceptions…

Anyway, that was my quick and random thought!!

You too huh? I've seen them too in the health section too. There's Karma Sutra and other sex self-help books as well and of course the most famous one, The Joy of Sex. They also have a few small books on what kind of sex games you can play with your partner. There was a book I also came across called Pure Romance between the Sheets, it's about how to spice up your sex life, which includes finding or reconnecting with your sexual self.

I know that both married and non-married couples probably use books like this, but I wouldn't use them even if I was married.

Yeah these books are terrible, they're BAM right there in the public eye... everyone just wondering around getting to see provocative photos on the front, with all these dodgy titles!!!

It actually could open a real kettle of fish if we start talking about magazine covers..... they're getting more and more slutty by the moment!!! Eergh!!!
