What made U decide?!

So this is the thread where you can let people know what made U decide to stay Virgin till Marriage!!

I believe that us virgins need to stick together because we are stong and we are proud.

Thanks and I'm glad to be here I choose to be a virgin until marriage because it will be all the more special when I loose it to my husband, he'll be the only lover I'll ever know.

That's awesome! I am in exactly the same boat!!! It will definitely be more special to share it with the one person you truly love and it can only make the marriage stronger... knowing you're each others only!!!

I decided to stay a virgin until marriage because of many reasons. First im catholic so i was raised to wait till marriage but there were also social and emotional reasons for me to stay one till marriage. I want my first time to be special and with only one woman for the rest of my life. I think society for the last 50 years looks at sex as a meaningless act of just pleasure and lust. While it is all of this, it is supposed to be much more. I think if more people waited till marriage by choice we have many more healthy marriages and guy and gals would respect the opposite sex and themselves more.

Aaaah, that's the kicker for me hey!!! I want my first time to be special with my wife... and the same goes for my wife... first time with me!!!
You're so right too about the healthy relationships, coz so many people dive into marriages simply because they've experienced the physical side. So so many problems can crop up from that, its a huge topic for discussion!!!

I am in agreement with many here and it is great to know others like myself are out there. It is very reassuring. I have posted a lot on the link I posted (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Abstinent_Singles/) where you can see my strong opinions on the matter. It is tough holding on to your high ideals in today's world, but we special people are proving it can be done.
